CALIFORNIA
MASSAGE (SOLIS)
California is such a melting pot of diverse cultures, religions,
beliefs and practices. The California Massage incorporates
both Eastern and Western philosophies and is our most requested
treatment. It is a thoughtfully choreographed dance around
the table that truly embraces the body, using long flowing
strokes and pressure point massage. The focus is to center
and balance the chi, while creating harmony within. It
is extremely therapeutic to the muscles, yet nurturing
to the soul.
ABORIGINAL MASSAGE
(KODO)
For over 40,000 years the Aboriginal Tribes have known
that touch is a vital component to one’s health. Receiving
and giving massages are a daily ritual for all tribe members.
Derived straight from the Bush, Kodo simply means melody.
The focus of the Kodo Massage is to remove blocked energy
through the extremities, which Aborigines believe flows through
the "ailee"(soul).
CUPPING MASSAGE
Used by various cultures to assist in eliminating toxins
from the body, the Cupping Massage is rich in history.
It can easily be combined with Aroma Therapy and benefits
the client dealing with conditions such as anxiety, fatigue,
chronic headache, fibromyalgia and neuralgia. The focus
of this massage is to increase local blood supply to the
muscle.
INDIAN STONE
MASSAGE
From
the American Indian point of view, rocks and stones hold
significant amounts of energy. They believe that each
stone has a purpose. Therefore, with respect to their
culture the stones are massaged, placed and carefully
removed with genuine integrity. Focus is a spiritual
experience which aligns the chakras, while leaving the
body in a deep state of relaxation.
